遵從咕咕雞大人的指示
- 來到南阿卡萊驛站附近的山丘後，發現傳達神諭的咕咕雞真的存在。求得神諭後，得知只要接受幾場考驗，牠就會提供有關薩爾達公主的線索。
- 遵從咕咕雞的神諭，通過了第1場考驗。不過據牠所說，若想要獲得關於薩爾達公主的線索，必須要再接受另1場考驗才行。
- 沛恩在南阿卡萊驛站附近打探消息，但是卻一無所獲，不知該如何是好。聽說驛站後面山丘大樹下有一隻傳達神諭的咕咕雞，他在想要不要去依靠神諭。
- 遵從咕咕雞的神諭，通過了第1場考驗。不過據牠所說，若想要獲得關於薩爾達公主的線索，必須要再接受另1場考驗才行。
- 傳達神諭的咕咕雞，其實是依蓋隊設下的陷阱，目的是為了引誘並打倒林克。沛恩聽到報告後，認為不能讓人們繼續相信虛假的神諭，所以要將事件的始末寫成報導。
- 雖然遵從咕咕雞的神諭，通過了所有考驗。但這其實是依蓋隊的圈套，他們打算藉此打倒疲憊不堪的林克。
